“This was a lovely experience in a small group which made it very personal. The hosts are a lovely couple and they were very kind and made sure we were ok all of the time with water and snacks. There was lots of information on the beautiful white villages that we visited which were so pretty. The cycling is hilly and there are beautiful views and photo opportunities. We had tapas and then a lovely lunch together and the end of the tour. I would highly recommend this trip. We traveled up to the coast to do this which was only 1 hour away well worth the travel.”

Taking a tour in Ronda Spain

⭐️ RATING: 5 out of 5 Stars | ⏳ TOUR LENGTH: 4 Hours | Check Rates & Availability

This isn’t just any evening stroll; it’s an invitation to immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of Andalucia as the day fades into the night.

The tour promises an unforgettable journey through the picturesque white villages of Montecorto and El Gastor, perfectly capped off with a traditional paella dinner as the sunset paints the sky.

  • Age Group: 18+
  • Group Size: Maximum of 5 participants
  • Duration: 4 hours

Our waiter recommended this “Andalucia by Sunset” tour as a must-do for a truly local experience. Unfortunately, our schedule was packed, and we couldn’t make it. However, the idea of strolling through Montecorto and El Gastor, soaking in their beauty at the golden hour, and then relaxing over a meal prepared by a professional chef sounds like an experience straight out of a travelogue

For anyone looking to dive deep into Andalucia’s charm, this tour comes highly recommended. It’s on our list for next time, and it should be on yours too!

“The views were breathtakingly beautiful. The villages were lovely, quiet and serene. The E-bikes were comfortable & easy to use, thus making the journey easily accessible to the non-cyclists considering this tour. The food… Ooohhh THE FOOD!!!! This is our 6th trip to Spain in 7 years – we have eaten paella all over the country. Neil’s paella was far and above the BEST – we could actually taste the freshness of the ingredients – Neil’s paella is what all other paella should aspire to be. Watching the preparation was easily as enjoyable as the eating. Neil & Chriss are the consummate guides and may well be the most gracious and hospitable hosts we have met in our travels. This tour is a MUST when visiting Ronda, to not book it would be a misuse of your travel funds. Thank you Neil & Chriss for the incredible experience.”

The best things to do in Ronda

⭐️ RATING: 5 out of 5 Stars | ⏳ TOUR LENGTH: 4 Hours | Check Rates & Availability

The hike begins with a discovery of Montejaque’s charms before tackling a stone “zigzag path,” that rewards hikers with breathtaking views. The path weaves through a landscape adorned with agave cacti, olive groves, and traditional farms, painting a picture of rural Spain untouched by time.

  • Age Group: 13+
  • Group Size: Maximum of 7 participants
  • Duration: 4 hours | Moderate Hike

Walking the same paths as those before cars and roads connected Montejaque to Ronda, and witnessing the natural and architectural wonders along the way, is an experience that calls to the heart of every adventurer.

For those who have the chance, this hike from Montejaque to Ronda is an opportunity not just to see, but to connect with the essence of Andalusia.

“Enjoyed a beautiful day out with Elaine! She picked us up at our lodging and we drove to Montejaque, where she gave us a firsthand narrative as she had lived in the area, so she knew so much! Off to the spectacular hiking with a reasonable pace and a beautiful day. Elaine shared information along the way on the history of the path, olive and wine industry as we passed many plantings. It was a good pace with not much in elevation but loads in beauty and scenery. If you like nature and having the wilderness to yourselves, this is for you!”
