There are four ways to get to Ronda from Seville: by train, car, bus, or taxi.

Duration: 3.5 hours + | Estimated Ticket Price: $55 USD or 51.53 € (1 adult)

There isn’t a direct train from Seville to Ronda, but taking the train journey offers more than just convenience—it’s a chance to see some of the best views across Andalusia’s landscapes. 

The trip takes a little more than three and a half hours, and with so much beautiful scenery, you’ll find the time passes quickly. It’s a calm ride, perfect for planning what you’ll do in Ronda or just relaxing a bit.

Trains from Seville to Ronda run three times a day with a change at Córdoba. Operated by Renfe, these high-speed “Ave” trains are both comfortable and reasonably priced. You can grab your tickets online, through the Renfe app, or directly at the Seville Santa Justa train station.

They offer a “flexible” fare too, which is great if you need to adjust your plans. I’ve done this route myself and found it incredibly easy to navigate and thoroughly enjoyable. 

Tip: Arrive at least 5-10 minutes before departure to secure a good seat.

Bus From Seville to Ronda Spain

Duration: 2.5 hours | Estimated Ticket Price: $20 USD or 19 €  (per 1 person)

If you’re not in a rush and looking to save some euros, the bus might be your best bet. It’s the least expensive option but takes a bit longer, around 2.5 hours. It’s perfect for those who don’t mind a longer journey in exchange for a few saved pennies.

By bus, the journey will take two and a half hours, and each bus will be equipped with wifi and air conditioning. You can book a ticket directly to Ronda, and the company that operates this route is Avanza.

Buses taking this route will leave from the Plaza de Armas, and they usually run numerous times a day, so there are plenty of options to fit into your schedule. It’s best to purchase your ticket online ahead of time, but you can also purchase them at the station.

Car from Seville to Ronda Spain

Duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes
